Horse Fattener Pellets contains 12 % protein which is a suitable level for mature working horses and ponies. Extra magnesium is included to keep the animal cool and calm.

Feeding Requirements:

The following feeding recommendations are to be used as a guide only.
The amount fed will vary according to the horses condition and the quality of pasture and / or roughage available.
Castlereagh Horse Fattener should be used to supplement grazing and / or a high quality roughage and should never exceed more than one half of the horses daily intake of feed by weight.
The amount of Castlereagh Horse Fattener fed will depend on the body condition and level of work. Castlereagh Horse Fattener should be introduced gradually over a two week period until the desired level of intake is reached.
