The older horse has special nutritional needs, Castlereagh Complete pellets are a steam conditioned, pelleted, nutritionally balanced complete feed formulated to be feed with quality roughage (hay/chaff/pasture). The steam conditioned pellets can be softened in water to produce a highly digestible porridge ideal for cold winter days, horses with worn or missing teeth and those recovering from surgery and illness. Additionalsupplements are not required except on veterinary advice.

Feeding Requirements:

Feeding rates will vary according to workload, body weight, temperature, climate, pasture and roughage quality.
Horses may be feed totally on these pellets as long as there is some form of grazing available. If there is no grazing, add equal quantities of chaff by weight.
Suitable for horses from 12 weeks of age.
